This is Elizabeth Ragle - Liz or Libby to her friends and family.  She is 11 years old and has just been diagnosed with a diffuse pontine glioma (brainstem tumor).  (http://www.stjude.org/)

Not only is Libby our niece, her Dad, Mitch Ragle has been a long time employee of Crawford Builders.  We are sure he is known to a lot of you.

Libby is a very active 11 year old.  She attends Southern Middle School here in Lexington where she plays the viola in the school orchestra.  She will be 12 this Saturday – May 29,2010.  She is also active in the Girls Scouts and has her brown belt in Tae Kwon Do.

Since surgery is not an option, treatments will require the family to be away from home for extended periods of time.  At the present they are exploring treatment options at the University of Cincinnati and Dr. Fauludi.
