Building a Legacy
Crawford Builders was started 1972. Mac Crawford, owner and founder of the business, has spent the last 30 years building the distinctive custom homes that have sustained the business, and the relationships that have made it grow. He has held fast to his values that include dedication, hard work, family and community.

Building Partnerships
Crawford Builders works hard for you and is committed to a quality project down to the finest details. No less is expected from others who work on your project. Partnerships have been cultivated over the years with contractors, designers and architects, among others, that allow the potential homeowner or remodeler to select from the best available.

Crawford Builders understands the personal nature of building your custom home or remodeling your existing home. When Crawford Builders is involved, it is not just about building a house; it is also about building a relationship with you and your family that allows every individual’s needs to be accommodated. Whether that means a playroom with built-in shelving and room to grow or a mahogany custom bar for entertaining, Crawford Builders’ goal is to create a quality custom result.

Building a Future
Family may be one of the most critical elements to the future of the business. Terry Crawford, Mac’s wife, works alongside on the books and as a consultant with an interior design degree. His son, Chip, manages many of the remodeling projects. Family or long-time partner, Crawford’s employees and associates all understand the mission of quality custom homes and relationship building.

Crawford Builders has invested not only in the future of the business, but in the future of the community. Mac is a Lexington native whose company has never shied from civic responsibility such as projects for Habitat for Humanity and Repair Affair.

A past-president of the Home Builders Association of Lexington, Mac is still active—as is Chip—with the HBAL, and serves on the board of directors for the National Association.
